Connecting with the Global Allergy Community at EAACI 2026

EAACI 2026, held in Istanbul from 12 to 15 June under the theme “Vision Zero: A Future Free from Allergy and Asthma Burden”, brought together clinicians, researchers and industry leaders from across the global allergy and immunology community. The congress highlighted the continued shift towards earlier intervention, precision diagnostics and innovative treatment approaches, with significant scientific focus on oral food challenges, immunotherapy and allergy prevention strategies. Researchers presented new data across hundreds of abstracts, reinforcing the importance of evidence based approaches to improving patient outcomes and reducing the long term burden of allergic disease.

For Reacta Healthcare, EAACI 2026 provided an important platform to strengthen relationships with existing partners, engage with prospective collaborators and showcase the company’s contribution to food allergy research. A key highlight was the presentation of Dr Helen Payne’s scientific poster, “Extraction Efficiency Studies and Quantification of Major Peanut Allergens in Peanut Challenge Meals and Peanut Flour”, which generated valuable discussion around the standardisation of oral food challenge materials. Alongside scientific engagement, the team hosted a networking reception and held a series of productive commercial discussions with clinical trial sponsors, CROs and biotechnology companies operating within the allergy space.

The congress reinforced the growing importance of standardised, pharmaceutical grade oral food challenge materials within allergy research and clinical development. Discussions throughout the event highlighted increasing interest in infant allergy studies, emerging immunotherapy approaches and improved diagnostic tools, while Reacta’s work remained uniquely positioned within the oral food challenge field. With new opportunities identified, key stakeholder relationships strengthened and scientific contributions well received, EAACI 2026 represented a successful and strategically valuable event for Reacta Healthcare as it continues to support global food allergy clinical research.
